Angel Ornament When we competed in the Eureka competition, two of our cheer moms made these gifts for us. This verse was attached to each angel: "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." --- Isaiah 40:31. They wanted to remind us that God would be with us. We felt He was with us, because we took home the 3rd place trophy. The first thing we did did was find a clipart picture of and angel with an area to put text on. Then we added a cloud background and put the verse on it. We printed 4 on a page. We made sure to print onto cardstock. That way, when we cut it out, it was sturdy enough to use as a gift tag. We wrapped each angel in tissue paper and tied purple cord around the ends. We didn't forget our two coaches, and we got them larger angels that looked like ours. We put these all in a basket, and then gave them to the girls the day of the competition. Even though the angel is being used as an ornament, you could give this gift any time of the year. If you wanted to save money you could buy angels after Christmas for half price.
