Hair Barrette Here's how to make a glittered hair barrette. They are very cheap to make, and the only supplies you need are glitter, nail polish, and hair clips. First you must find your nail polish. Any type of polish works well, whether it's cheap or expensive. They all work about the same. Paint your barrette with a base coat. Then once it is dry, apply a second coat. While the second coat is still wet, dip the barrette into the glitter. Set it somewhere to dry overnight. Then your barrette is ready! (Note, there might be excess glitter on your barrette. I recommend shaking it off over a trashcan or sink before you use it, so you don't get glitter all over your hair and uniform.)
