Post

This is a quick, neat-looking, 3 person stunt. It goes up fast, and is great to use in crowd cheers. If your base is strong, like we have in our example, this is an extremly easy stunt. Remember to always be careful, and remember stunting guidelines!

We have a video clip of this stunt being performed at a game.

The flyer grabs the post's hands.

The base grabs the flyer's foot with one hand, and uses the other hand to grab the flyer's shin.

The flyer sponges by bouncing a few inches off the ground.

The flyer uses her own strength to push off of the post, putting some weight on the post, instead of the base.

The base shoves the flyer's foot upwards in one smooth motion, while still supporting the shin of the flyer. (this is all while the flyer is pushing on the post)

The base has one arm in place, holding the flyer's first foot. The flyer puts her weight on the first foot, and dangles the second foot. She still is supporting her weight on the post.

The base grabs the flyer's other foot, and both of her arms are in place now. The flyer is balance on the base's hands.

The flyer and base can let go of hands now.

Your post is up and the flyer can cheer along now.

For the dismount, the base sponges and pops the flyer. (the base must let the flyer know she's letting her down)

The flyer has her hands at her sides. She stays tight. The base has her hands out, ready to catch the flyer by grabbing her waist.

(this is a side view)

The flyer grabs the bases hands, actually helping to catch her weight.
