![]() Liberty ![]() This is our JV squad demonstrating a liberty extention. This is not too easy, so please be careful, and remember stunting guidelines! Before you view the stunting guide, you can view a Video Clip of the stunt (149 K) ![]() The flyer starts with one foot in the bases hands. The bases will keep the same grip throughout the stunt. The side base holds the toe and the heel of flyer, and the secondary base has one hand under the foot of the flyer, and one on top. The backspot starts with one hand on the flyer ankle, and one on the flyer's upper thigh to push the flyer upward. ![]() The flyer sponges down to gain momentum. ![]() The flyer is at the top of her sponge, her weight on her supporting leg. ![]() The flyer goes back down, and the whole stunt prepares to go up all the way to the extention. ![]() The flyer pushes off, using her arms to propell herself upward. The backspot pushes the flyer up. The main and secondary base push the flyer up as well. ![]() The flyer starts to put her weight on her supporting leg, tightening up. The backspot then prepares to move her other hand to the flyer's ankle for more support. ![]() The flyer starts to pull her leg up to the Liberty position. ![]() The Liberty is up all the way, and the flyer has her whole weight on one leg.
