T Shirt Surgery

A quick way to make your shirt fit to your shape, is to cut the front of your shirt and tie a knot at the waist.

We took one of our basic shirts. Most squads will have a look similar to this, but with a few quick and easy steps, you can create a different style. (This look is very flattering, and we know you'll love it!)

Cut your shirt up the middle until you reach your waistline.

We added a 1 inch row of stitches to reinforce the shirt above the cut. Sometimes when you cut the shirt it will tend to pull apart more as you wear it. (We used yellow thread so you could see it, but white will not show.)

Roll up or gather the back of the shirt.

Tie the two ends together at the waistline in a knot. This is much better than simply tieing a knot without cutting it first. When you tie without cutting, the shirt bunches up weird in the front and doesn't look as good. We also find that this way is much more comfortable.

If you want to you can make your cut on the back instead, and tie the knot in the back.

This is also a very flattering look.
